Prisma uses few cookies. These are all of them:
| Cookie | What for | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
prisma_sid | Keeping your session open while you use Prisma and protecting forms against forged submissions | Until you close the browser (8 h without use) | Essential |
prisma_recordar | "Keep me signed in" on that browser, only if you check it | 30 days from last use (2 days for the admin account) | Essential |
prisma_idioma | Remember the language you choose (Spanish or English) | 1 year | Essential |
prisma_consentimiento | Remembering your analytics choice | 180 days | Essential |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics: counting visits to public pages, only if you accept | Up to 2 years | Analytics |
Essential cookies are necessary for Prisma to work and do not require your consent. We don't use advertising cookies.
Analytics
On public pages, when you're not signed in, we may use Google Analytics to know how many people visit us. We ask your permission with a notice and it only loads if you accept. Inside Prisma, when you're signed in, we don't use external analytics. To change your decision, delete the prisma_consentimiento cookie from your browser and the notice will appear again.
YouTube player
Videos are played with YouTube's official player. Without an account, or if you turn the option off in your profile, we use privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com): YouTube doesn't use what you watch on Prisma to personalize your YouTube experience, although it may store technical information in your browser so the player works.
With "Play with my YouTube account" (on by default when you create your account), the player uses youtube.com and your Google session cookies, so YouTube can record what you watch in your history. Some browsers, such as Safari, block these cookies. In both cases the Google's privacy policy applies.
reCAPTCHA
On the sign-in, registration, password recovery, contact, Ideas and replies forms we may use Google reCAPTCHA to stop bots. Google may use its own cookies under its privacy policy.
Storage in your browser
Besides cookies, Prisma stores in your browser (local storage) the light or dark theme you choose (prisma.tema), your player preferences, such as open panels and autoplay (prisma.player), the videos you moved to later today (prisma.alFinal), whether you use TV mode (prisma.tv) and whether you postponed the invitation to install the app (prisma.invitacionApp). This data is not sent to Prisma, and you delete it by clearing the site data.
